TESLA
An electric car or an Austrian electrical engineer: Elon Musk and Nikola Tesla. Both are inextricably linked to electrical progress. The Serbian-American inventor Nikola Tesla is credited with the invention of the alternating current generator. He is arguably the origin of the “eccentric scholar”. The rivalry between him and fellow scientist Thomas Edison was discussed for years after Tesla's death. Tesla had huge debts, while Edison became wealthy with his inventions. After all, Nikola was not a businessman — unlike Elon Musk.
